These Terms of Use cover your use of conradyct.com (the "Site"), run by Conrady Consulting & Technology LLC, a California limited liability company ("CC&T," "we," "us"). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
1. Information only, not professional advice
The articles, videos, tools, and other content on the Site are for general information. They aren't engineering, testing, legal, or other professional advice, and using the Site doesn't create a consulting or professional relationship with us. Any consulting work we do is covered by a separate written agreement.
2. Tools and calculators
Our free tools, including the FM calculator, are provided for convenience. Results depend on the numbers you enter and may contain errors. Always check results against the current published standards (for example, ASTM standards) and your own project specifications before relying on them. ASTM is a trademark of ASTM International. We aren't affiliated with or endorsed by ASTM.
3. No warranty
The Site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
4. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, CC&T won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or business, arising from your use of the Site or its tools. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site is limited to $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
5. Our content
Unless noted otherwise, the Site's text, graphics, videos, tools, and the CC&T name and logo belong to CC&T or are used with permission. You may view and share links to our pages and use the tools for your own work. Please don't copy, republish, or sell our content without written permission. Some characters and media on the Site are AI-generated and are labeled as such.
6. Our virtual assistant
"Mandie" is an automated, scripted virtual assistant, not a person. Her answers are general information only. Messages you send through the chat or forms are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Links and sponsored content
The Site may link to other websites or show content labeled "Sponsored." We don't control third-party sites and aren't responsible for their content, products, or privacy practices. A link or sponsorship isn't an endorsement unless we say so.
8. Using the Site
Please don't misuse the Site. For example, don't try to break or overload it, scrape it in bulk, upload malicious code, or use it for anything unlawful.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
